#19 Does not remember AO directory

Somewhat annoyingly, while AOIA launches on Win startup, it never remembers the AO directory, causing a popup window to browse to it every time. I am not sure if this is a bug or a missing feature, but it is very annoying in an otherwise fabulous product.

Where have you installed AOIA at?
Does it remember the settings if you launch it manually?

It's installed at Program Files (86)\Item-Assistant

(I'm running Win7 x64)

... and... Ah! Running it manually worked, and it created a file ItemAssistant.conf pointing to AO. I'll see if it loads it next time on startup.

It is NOT recommended to have it inside "program files" since the UAC feature of Vista and 7 prevents the program from updating its database as well as the config file.

I suggest you move it to c:\games\aoia or something along those lines. The alternative is to completely turn off UAC in Windows.

Yea, I have UAC disabled. The program had no problem with my database, just the config file.
