i am using arch and sony ericsson k610i. i installed java thingy on my cell and installed anyremote on my arch.
ok
i configure da anyremote on desktop, then pop up anyremote on my cell, go to connect via bluetooth address and get out error:
Please,
1.be sure what bluetooth adapter on PC is in discoverable mode
(hciconfig hci0 piscan)
2. run sdptools browse local to see, does anyRemote registered
service on PC side
3. if it does not helps rerun anyremote from console with additional "-log" option and send logs ($HOME/.anyRemote/anyremote.log)

It seems to me that the anyremote applet doesn't have sufficient permissions to use bluetooth on the phone side.
I had a Sony Ericsson once, if I remember good, there must be some way to give an applet permissions... Try the More (I don't exactly remember it's name, something like that) menu on anyremote, there must be a Permissions option.
