I've been able to get anyremote working on my Galaxy mini phone using Bluetooth, but would much prefer to connect via wifi.
When I try to connect via wifi, it just sits there with the connecting icon whirling.
I know that I can connect to my phone via wifi, as I have had success with other software (e.g. wifi keyboard, adbWireless).
Any ideas?
please make sure: - (on android side) IP address/port of PC is correct - (on PC side) anyremote runned with "-s socket:XXXX" commandline option
Also, You can try try to shutdown firewall
Sorry to take so long to get back - I was monitoring another thread.
Yes it worked! It was the firewall - can't imagine why I didn't try that before.
Thanks so much for your help Mike. I hope this helps others as well.
