The Android topic brings to me the suggestion for supporting in general touchscreen devices, actually I thinkanyremote supports only keyboard based devices.
It could be nice to have that in the future.

If noone has done so yet, I would be happy to take a stab at an android interface for this.
Let me know if you want me to do it. I've done some dabbling in android development since I just changed over to an android phone, but still want to use anyremote to control over bluetooth.

I'm looking for where to grab the source code of the j2me client. It shouldn't bee too hard to convert since Dalvik is Java based. So let me know where to look so that I can start converting it.
Thanks

Hi mike!
I recently got a android phone, and i was thought that my favourite mobile phone app would work with this too. I'd love to help to port it, but i'm sure its a pretty difficult task.
If anyone starts developing this great app for android, please post here your achievements.
Share the source that you can make with http://appinventor.googlelabs.com/
For now, I haven't seen any remote app for android as good as this one is for java based phones. And on android you can use Orientation Sensor and Accelerometer Sensor, so it would be great to use the phone as a mouse, or even to play games.
As new tv's get android or googletv or something alike, it will be useful too.

Works great, but feels ugly on my "small screen" xperia x10 mini… It's very hard to pinch the buttons. I guess you added the black border around the buttons because they would be too big in a fullsize android, but any chance to remove it?
