Hi Ramiro, I am a MS student and have been using ANUGA for a couple of months. I may not be an expert but I can relate myself to your questions. 1. I have not tried the GUI. I believe using it on Jupyter notebook would be helpful as they have a lot of documentation on that. 2. Yes, using Anaconda is the easiest way. But, you have to use python 2.7 for which ANUGA is currently available. 3. Yes, you have to create a specific environment for ANUGA. I was able to install and work without creating a specific environment in my laptop. But, it didn't work on my work computer. So, creating a specific environment is definitely the safest bet.
