Dear Duncan,

"interpolate_sww2csv"  function will be useful when we look for
isolated gauge locations.
However what Nils looking for is the stage/velocity information for a
given instant along a track defined mostly (not always) as a straight
line with just two points.

Yes we can still use this function provided we generate enough
locations along the track to be fed to it.
