    You can easily make it compatible by downloading the Source and opening it with Xcode. It will then reformat it to the new OS X 10.10 Standards and after you hit build the result can be put in place of the old plugin.

    If you are not too talented at doing this I can also send you the new built version that I did.

    Before I filed the bug I had recompiled it and it didn't work.

    I see the problem now: Yosemite has native support for animated gifs now and, actually, removing the plugin altogether fixes the problem.

      Nice! Thank you! It worked for me after I recompiled it but just one time and the second Gif I tried to view didn't work again :D
