The AndroMDA committers team is proud to announce release 3.2 of the Model Driven Architecture framework AndroMDA. Highlights in this release are:

New AndroMDA Boot Camp: March 20 - March 23, Bonn, Germany

Hi,

the next AndroMDA Boot Camp training ("from scratch to your own cartridge in 4 days") takes place from March 20th to March 23rd, in Bonn, Germany. The training is in German language with English slides. You can learn how to write your own AndroMDA cartridge that generates the code specific for your own application architecture.

* We will have a CVS server to collaborate on the sample
* We will also have an HTTP server with a Maven repository
* We will have a wireless LAN to connect to those servers

the next AndroMDA Boot Camp training ("from scratch to your own cartridge in 4 days") takes place from November 29th to December 2nd, in Frankfurt, Germany.

This time, the training will be completely in English (voice, slides and samples). You can learn how to write your own AndroMDA cartridge that generates the code specific for your own application architecture. We will learn in the team, using a CVS and a Maven repository as well as model partitioning so that you can practice the typical MDA development process, too.... read more

AndroMDA's new release 2.0.6 supports Poseidon 2.0!

AndroMDA is a code generation framework that follows the Model Driven Architecture (MDA) paradigm. It takes a UML model from a CASE-tool and generates classes and deployable components (J2EE or other) specific for your application architecture.

This new release of AndroMDA supports Poseidon 2.0's new XMI format. This is because it accepts files based on a new UML metamodel: UML 1.4 with the proposed UML 2.0 diagram interchange extensions. XMI-Files based on the pure UML 1.4 metamodel are still read in as before, so all tools that worked with AndroMDA before will still work as expected. ... read more

MDA tutorial with AndroMDA at the openMDA 2003 conference

The open source code generation framework AndroMDA (see http://www.andromda.org\) will be used to teach programming with the model driven architecture approach.

The tutorial is held by Matthias Bohlen, the AndroMDA lead architect. It takes place on September 15 at the "openMDA 2003" conference in Cologne, Germany.

AndroMDA shows up at JAX2003 conference

AndroMDA is a code generation framework that follows the Model Driven Architecture (MDA) paradigm. Matthias Bohlen, AndroMDA's lead architect, will give a session on the 2003 conference on Java, Apache, XML (JAX 2003) in Frankfurt, Germany.

AndroMDA adds support for Hibernate
