Hello I am having difficulty modeling a Value Object (VO) say VO_B that contains a Collection of VO_B. My point of reference on VO is the TimeTracker tutorial: http://galaxy.andromda.org/index.php?option=com_content&task=view&id=135&Itemid=89 I have a Entity bean called ProxyRequest than contains one or more ProxyReferralItem Entity beans. So there are two tables that are joined by a foreign key relationship. Now my ProxyRequest Entity object has a ProxyRequestVO and my ProxyReferral object also has a corresponding ProxyReferralVO object along with the ProxyRequestVO[] and ProxyReferralVO[]. Just like the TimeTracket tutorial specifies. What I want to do is return to my client, a JSF page, a ProxyRequestVO object that contains a Collection of ProxyReferralVO objects. I put a containment relationship on my ProxyRequestVO to my ProxyReferralVO in the MagicDraw model and a method shows up on my ProxyRequestVO.getProxyReferralItemVOs(). My Question is: How does this get populated? I was expecting this to be populated when I called my Service to retrieve a ProxyRequestVO, but the Collection of ProxyReferralVO is empty. I could populate this myself, but would rather not! Any help would be appreciated. Thanks Peter _________________________________________________________ Reply to the post : http://galaxy.andromda.org/forum/viewtopic.php?p=24818#24818 Posting to http://forum.andromda.org/ is preferred over posting to the mailing list! |
