Theme Designer
AnchorCast includes a full theme designer for customising how content looks on the projection screen.
Opening the Theme Designer
Click Themes in the top toolbar, or press Ctrl+T.
Theme Categories
Themes can be set per content type:

Each category can have its own independent theme, or all can share one global theme.
Theme Options
Background
- Solid color — pick any color
- Gradient — two-color gradient with direction control
- Image — upload a JPG/PNG background image
- Video — upload an MP4 video background (loops automatically)
Text
- Font — choose from any installed font + bundled church fonts (Cinzel, Crimson Pro, DM Sans)
- Font size — slider control
- Color — text color picker
- Shadow — enable/disable text shadow and set intensity
- Alignment — left, center, right
Logo Overlay
- Upload your church logo (PNG with transparent background recommended)
- Set position: top-left, top-right, bottom-left, bottom-right
- Set size and opacity
Lower Third
- Optional caption bar at the bottom of the screen
- Customise background color, text color, and font
Saving and Applying Themes
- Design your theme in the Theme Designer
- Click Save Theme and give it a name
- Select which category it applies to (Scripture, Songs, or Presentations)
- The theme is applied immediately to live content
Quick switch: Use the Themes dropdown in the Program Preview toolbar to switch themes during a service without opening the full designer.
Built-in Themes
AnchorCast includes several built-in themes:
- Dark Gold — dark background with gold accents (default)
- Classic White — white background with dark text
- Cinema Dark — pure black with white text
- Midnight Blue — deep blue with white text
- Worship — gradient purple/blue
You can modify any built-in theme and save it as a custom version.
Per-Song Themes
Individual songs can override the global Songs theme:
- Open the song in the Song Manager
- Click Theme in the song editor
- Select or create a theme for this song specifically
This is useful for special worship songs that should have a distinct visual style.
