Theme Designer

AnchorCast includes a full theme designer for customising how content looks on the projection screen.

Opening the Theme Designer

Click Themes in the top toolbar, or press Ctrl+T.

Theme Categories

Themes can be set per content type:

Category Controls appearance of
Scripture Bible verses on the projection screen
Songs Song lyric slides
Presentations Custom presentation slides

Each category can have its own independent theme, or all can share one global theme.

Saving and Applying Themes

  1. Design your theme in the Theme Designer
  2. Click Save Theme and give it a name
  3. Select which category it applies to (Scripture, Songs, or Presentations)
  4. The theme is applied immediately to live content

Quick switch: Use the Themes dropdown in the Program Preview toolbar to switch themes during a service without opening the full designer.

Built-in Themes

AnchorCast includes several built-in themes:

  • Dark Gold — dark background with gold accents (default)
  • Classic White — white background with dark text
  • Cinema Dark — pure black with white text
  • Midnight Blue — deep blue with white text
  • Worship — gradient purple/blue

You can modify any built-in theme and save it as a custom version.

Per-Song Themes

Individual songs can override the global Songs theme:

  1. Open the song in the Song Manager
  2. Click Theme in the song editor
  3. Select or create a theme for this song specifically

This is useful for special worship songs that should have a distinct visual style.
