amsum

Amsum is a console utility to generate and further check check sums (hashes) of specified files, in purpose to view fact of any changes.

The program is one small executable file, and commonly it does not require installation.
After the file with check sums created by the program, move this hash file and program executable to other host or storage media, and after some time copy these files back to target host and run check there.
This method provides an invisible file change control.
