Hello, I, too, have been thinking about different gender forms in some languages lately. But I have an idea about how to solve this problem. Instead of writing two language files, one for male and one for female users, we should have the keys duplicated when needed. For example English would have: online Online while Slovene has online-m Prijavljen online-f Prijavljena In order not to need changing practically all the keys in all the scripts, the language-managing code would automatically check for available -m and -f suffixed keys and apply them when needed: if there is a $1 parameter in the key that is a contact, it would check its sex, otherwise the user's sex would be applied. Of course, everyone would have to set their and their's contact's sex manually (or maybe aMSN users could exchange it through x-clientcaps :)). Now if you think this is a good idea, I think I can do it:) Janos _________________________________________________________________ Express yourself instantly with MSN Messenger!
