The above feature won't show up until the next one, 0.94. Ultimately, however, it'll be an optional (but enabled by default) feature that will allow you to automatically or manually expire items from the primary page that you no longer want to see. They'll still be there - just "hidden". Clicking the "show hidden (3)" would, in this case, show the three hidden items (inline or on a new page, I've yet to decide). The determining factors on "should I hide an item" will be something like: * how many times has it been seen? (user-config). * how old is it (based on item date or download time) (user-config). * did the user tell me explicitly to delete this item? It's really the last remaining feature I want to add before 1.0 - 0.94 will be it's debut, and then the plan is to release 1.0 with it's related bug fixes (and a few phrase/concept changes, like going from "My Channels" to "My Subscriptions", and so forth). I'm still bouncing it around in my head, but 1.0 may not be backwards compatible with all the previous releases (the extent of this to the end-user would be "ok, manually rename "myChannels.opml" to "mySubscriptions.opml"). But all that's the future, not stone. >Just one suggestion: How about having an alternating background for >the individual items, i.e. white - light grey - white - etc Did that about twenty minutes after the screenshot :) ... It's a very light grey (far lighter than #cccccc for those who know HTML colors). >> * You can now get further information about the feed over at >> syndic8.com, which is a clearing house for RSS information. > >What happens if the feed isn't listed at syndic8? Nothing much. That link "searches" for the feed's XML URL at Syndic8 - if there's no match, then they'll be no search results. >Done. Thanks for the great work with AmphetaDesk!
