Dear AMOS help, I am trying to run AMOS on a PC via Cygwin but getting several WARNING messages at the end of the configuration and the tips you provide on your website do not seem to fix them. I set up AMOS in the cygwin folder located on the C drive in /cygdrive/c/cygwin/AMOS as I run ./configure I get Warnings for nucmer, delta-filter, show-coords and Qt3 toolkit not being found. Installing the MUMmer3.22 application in AMOS and specifying the location as specified on your website (i.e. MUMmer3.22=/MUMmer3.22/nucmer & export MUMmer3.22) does not help. I tried to rename the MUMmer application NUCMER in case that could be the problem and then rerunning "make install", etc..., and then the AMOS config command but that does not seem to help either. Let me know if you have any suggestions. Also, I am mostly interested to run AutoEditor on assembled contig ace files. Is it possible to do this on AMOS, as I saw that you mention the program on your webpage? I have been trying to find more info about the AutoEditor package as a stand-alone program on the TIGR website but their link seems to be obsolete. Once again I'd be greatful if you have any information regarding this program.
