Great to hear from you and to hear that you merged my stuff.

 Well, with my Debian developer hat on I like to point out that the new
Debian release is just around the corner, and if you tag a new release
within the next two or three days, the new versions would actually make
it in. 

I think the Debian patches are there for quite some time now and amide
has no functionality bugs there, so I would consider these patches well
tested. The vistaio data loading stuff I've used quite intensely and it
doesn't  touch any inner workings of amide, so it should also be save.
