Yes, you told me this before, and so I adapted my local howto to compile amide with a recent gcc, but forgot to do this for the other libraries. Sorry about this. > > I'm currently using gcc 3.3.2 I doubt it! libecat does no longer compile with gcc 3.3 (as it no longer supports varargs.h). I have mentioned this to Merence, and he fixed the original LLN distribution. I don't know how easy it is for you to take that on board. Of course, you might just want to say that we don't need libecat anymore, so why bother. So, I'm using gcc 3.3 for everything, except libecat where I currently use gcc 3.0... Using amide 0.8.1 (and your patch) the colormap and frame-duration problems indeed disappeared. I still crash when importing ECAT6 using libecat though. Might be because gcc 3.0 is too old. Anyway, I start to get the impression I shouldn't bother with libecat anymore. Kris PS: by the way, for libecat and volpack, I cannot do ./configure CC=gcc-3.3;make install Instead, I have to do CC=gcc-3.3 ./configure ;make install CC=gcc-3.3 (seems that the configure script is slightly different for those 2) |
