[amfphp] best way to deal with paging

Good day - soes anyone have any examples (actionscript side) of how to deal with paging?
I have my php classes all working fine, and have been testing by adding content to
datagrids, etc..... however say for example I was returning a recordset of blog entries
- and I was going to have the most recent displayed (by assigning various things to text
fields), and wanted to have a "forward/back" type navigation.... looking for some kind
of example of that....
