You need to ensure your classes are compiled in. There are a few ways; here's 1: http://www.jessewarden.com/archives/2005/07/getting_as2_rem.html Basically: - drag the remoting components in - compile in Flash MX 2004 (or 8) first - compile in MTASC 2nd The Remoting SWC's, while not used, ensure that they classes are always compiled in. ----- Original Message ----- From: "Alan" <al...@ya...> To: <amf...@li...> Sent: Tuesday, December 27, 2005 5:15 PM Subject: [amfphp] Nothing in NetConnection debugger when compiling with mtasc Hi, With the release of 1.0 I finally got started trying out amfphp. I've got the "Testing your AMFPHP installation" example from the wiki running from the Flash IDE and it works just as described, with the expected result in the output window and events showing in the NetConnection debugger. But the same test compiled with mtasc, although it produces the expected output, shows nothing in the NetConnection debugger. I have compiled a GoogleSearch example with mtasc too, and that also runs fine (this is cool!) but shows nothing in the debugger. In my code I have the following: import mx.remoting.debug.NetDebug; . . . var b:Boolean = NetDebug.initialize(); and b then traces to "undefined". How can I fix this? -A ------------------------------------------------------- This SF.net email is sponsored by: Splunk Inc. Do you grep through log files for problems? Stop!
