Hi Eric, I'm updating the earlier version of amforth I used to control a Si4133 PLL chip on a satellite tuner board. With a 2 line LCD it allows me to generate test signals from about 800MHz to 1600 MHz in steps as small as 10kHz. A very crude instrument but better than nothing. My current challenge is to drive the ESP8266 with AT commands. I can do what I want from a terminal program on the PC so I know what the required commands are. Struggling to get amforth to talk over the serial port so maybe it's a dud micro.
