just another hint: I did not configure my ubuntu wine at all, only
at the very first run it may present a config dialog, just press ok
to accept all defaults. Running avrasm2 is the only task for my
wine installation..

only a few megabytes, not a big deal (nowadays)

Cannot tell, I've got only one board. If someone can figure out
a better initialization of the usart settings, please
let me know.
