Amelio 2012.1 has been rebuilt against Ubuntu 11.10 Oneiric and features USB boot support.

* base system updated to Ubuntu 11.10.
* i386: now uses pae kernel to support memory over 4G.
* 'quiet' boot parameter removed so more kernel and boot messages can be seen.
* casper directory renamed to amelio_<version>_<32|64> to avoid picking up
the wrong root image if used in a multiboot USB system.
* only eth0 will be attempted to be auto-configured.
* USB boot support. See $ISO_ROOT/isolinux/README.usbboot

Amelio 2011.2 has been released. This version features 64 bit support and is now Ubuntu based.

2011.2 (i386/amd64):
* moved to Ubuntu based system.
* 64 bit support.
* nfs and cifs client support.
* nfs4 acl tools support.
* ftp support.
* S.M.A.R.T hard disk support via smartmontools.
* dmraid for hardwared RAID support.
* moved to isolinux for booting.
* added 'Check CD For Defects' to boot options.
* added 'Hardware Info' to boot options (from syslinux).
* wireshark removed.
* ntop removed.
* snort removed.
* Boot menu will timeout to 'Booting First Hard Disk' if no selection made.
* PXE boot support. See $ISO_ROOT/isolinux/README.pxeboot for instructions.

Amelio 2011.1 will be scheduled for release on January 1, 2011.
New features include:
* complete system update
* added telnet, ethtool
* experimental btrfs support
* ISO image size reduced by about one half
* kernel updated to 2.6.36.x with improved configuration including sun partition and keyboard support, and additional power management features and CPU drivers.
