I am also trying to do this. I have managed to get the viruses to drop into
/var/JUNK/virus, by defining the virus quarantine. I attempted to do the
same for the spam (/var/JUNK/spam) but it does NOT quarantine. See below. I
can get the spam emailed to my account so I know that quarantine works, but
the whole point was to eliminate the spam...

The message WAS NOT delivered to:

Not quarantined.

Sorry to have polluted the list with my stupid question. I just got that 
using 'spam_quarantine' or 'virus_quarantine' was a predefined case and that

using any other name would direct the quarantine to a file. apologies
