[AMaViS-user] Whitelisting

I *know* this is me missing something obvious, but I'm getting messages 
through which are spam but are coming through as whitelisted. I've double 
checked my 'whitelist_from' line in /var/lib/amavis/.spamassassin/user_prefs 
and the address definitely isn't there.

I've also checked my etc/mail/spamassassin/local.cf and there's nothing in 
there.

I presume it's in my AWL, but I can't work out how to list what's in the 
AWL ... (when I run the check_whitelist script from tools as either user 
amavis or root it says 'no such file or directory').
