Hello Ivan,

I have the same problem with AMS build from scratch on Mandriva 2006. On 2005 
it used to work fine, now I get the same error as you. My guessing is that 
AMS is not aware of some possible changes in the ALSA drivers which are newer 
now. 

Anyone?
