I have debian sarge, on a i686 and a amd64. I'm using ZynAddSubFx, Timidity++ and FluidSynth, and all goes fine, but as i have listen about AlsaModularSynth i decided to give it a try. Well... that's a problem. When i run: $ ams LADSPA_PATH: /usr/lib/ladspa: loadPath: (null), savePath: (null) Alsa_driver: detected more than 1024 playback channnels, reset to 2. Alsa_driver: detected more than 1024 capture channnels, reset to 2. Alsa_driver: can't set capture hardware parameters. Can't connect to ALSA and quits. If i run it trough Jack, it goes ok, but i have no JACK output module, so that's not an option. How can i debug this to find the problem? Another thing, both computers have AC97 based sound cards, which support 48000Hz rates. Maybe it has something to do? Thanks for your responses Ivan Hernandez |
