[Alsa-user] sound on Ibook2

I run SuSE PPC 7.1 with kernel 2.4.2 on Apple's Ibook2.

 The alsa that comes with the distribution detects the sound card and uses
snd-card-awacs. The driver starts fine but there is no sound coming out of
speakers or headphones when I try to play any sound sample...

I tried installing the lastest drivers from CVS tree. Tried using
snd-card-ibook driver. That doesn't even load, saying that device is busy.

Any help would be appreciated...
