Hi everyone, I've been reading the correspondence about the Midiman Delta 44/66 from about 11 Months back, and need some clarification about some of the points that were mentioned as being in the 0.6 todo lists (so to speak). Mainly: is it possible under 0.9(beta) to select particular channels of the 44 (for example to record from just channel 1, or to play to channel 3 [say]) Also: Does anybody have confirmation as to whether the Audiophile 2496 does work successfully under ALSA? Failing that are there any recommendations for a card that supports analogue input (preferably with 2 selectable line inputs) and output (again preferably with selectable outputs). I'm not particularly bothered about digital or midi input or output, but I do need a good analogue recording capability [i.e. good linearity, low noise provided the cabling's done right] with 16+ bit full duplex. It is important to be able to record at 44.1kHz as well as 48 (this is the main problem with my current Hoontech 4Dwave, after 30 minutes recording there is a horrible breakup of the sound caused by dropped or duplicated samples). James P.S. I see that the CS4630 is now listed in the current sources of the drivers -- how well does that work? as there are several cs4630-based cards of the right sort of specification (barring a few unwanted digital channels). -- +------------------------+-------------------------------+---------+ | James Tappin | School of Physics & Astronomy | O__ | | sj...@st... | University of Birmingham | -- \/` | | Ph: 0121-414-6462.
