I'd try to update the firmware, as this is quite a new notebook.

Download the latest and put it into /lib/firmware.

For the same reason I'd try to run the latest mainline kernel:

https://code.launchpad.net/~cappelikan/+archive/ubuntu/ppa

Also use the latest nvidia driver (460).
