Hi,

some more info: the system is Debian 6.0.5 i386.
The chip in the soundcard is reported to be a CM6206.

I tried to rebuld alsa-drivers, lib and utils. I get now the
error msgs:

root@webradio:~# alsamixer
cannot open mixer: No such file or directory
root@webradio:~# amixer
amixer: Mixer attach default error: No such file or directory
root@webradio:~#
------------------------------------------------------------
