Hi,
I have a "Bose USB Audio" (5.1). Using alsa-lib-20091124.tar.bz2.
When I try to refer to a custom node in /etc/asound.conf for
surround51, all devices except the card are gone (output of aplay -L):
/etc/asound.conf:
cards.USB-Audio."Bose USB Audio".pcm.surround51 {
//anything (for instance, type null), but the goal is to setup dmix
}
When I look at confdir/cards/USB-Audio.conf in the node
USB-Audio.pcm.surround51.0 it refers to cards.USB-Audio."Bose USB
Audio".pcm.surround51 where I presume that the card name is "Bose USB
Audio".
What do I miss?
