Hey All, I've been suffering with this problem for a while. I use an M-Audio Delta-1010 sound card primarily for multitrack recording and editing with Jack and Ardour. I use the planet ccrma repository and kernels. My current kernel is: 2.6.29.6-1.rt23.4.fc10.ccrma Ever since about March of last year, my Delta 1010 cannot handle inputs at 96kHz sample rates. As soon as I switch to 96kHz in envy24control, I can hear lots of crackle and pop noises through the inputs that are also recorded when I try to record. I first noticed this after installing a new kernel. At that time (last winter) I could simply boot the old kernel to solve the problem. However, after upgrading to Fedora 10 there are no kernels available that will work for me. They all crackle as soon as I switch to 96kHz. This only happens on inputs, output at 96kHz is fine. Can anyone help solve this problem? I figure it must be an issue with the alsa drivers. Thanks a lot, Francis |
