aplaymidi --port=16:0 song.mid where 16:0 is an external synth, causes total system lockup (no mouse move in X). Also, when xmms plays an mp3 using the ALSA driver, the pitch of the song is several cents lower than it should be suggesting some kind of timing problem. (So I use audacious with the OSS driver and it works fine.) Not sure if this is related to the midi problem. Any ideas? * Linux nemesis.lan 2.6.19-1.2895.fc6 #1 SMP Wed Jan 10 18:50:56 EST 2007 x86_64 x86_64 x86_64 GNU/Linux * Advanced Linux Sound Architecture Driver Version 1.0.13 (Tue Nov 28 14:07:24 2006 UTC). * M-Audio Delta 1010LT: Multimedia audio controller: VIA Technologies Inc.
