Same situation on=20 different machines and architectures (i686 / x86_64) Must be a specific al= sa=20 issue with my sound card (my "model" of sound card, SB0490, I already tried= =20 another one of same type from a friend, same situation), CONFIG_USB_BANDWID= TH=20 already disabled. =46or the mixer, here is my amixer output: flocchini@sovereign ~ $ amixer Simple mixer control 'PCM',0 Capabilities: pvolume pvolume-joined cvolume pswitch pswitch-joined Playback channels: Mono Capture channels: Mono Limits: Playback 0 - 100 Capture 0 - 15 Mono: Playback 100 [100%] [0.00dB] [on] Capture 0 [0%] [0.00dB] as you can see, it's only ONE control... I refuse to believe that there is= =20 only ONE control in my 5.1 card :) Windows drivers show up front, rear,=20 center, earphones, with spdif and digital din on/off switch. So, I wonder=20 about any better support in alsa :P ciao |
