According to the descriptors, the internal routing looks like this:

USB    -----------> \
LineIn -> volume ->  + -> volume -> LineOut
Line?  -> volume -> /

LineIn -> volume -> USB


It seems the fourth volume control got lost somewhere.
Is there any error message in the system log?
