Two questions looking for someone who might know: 1. I just upgraded a redhat-9 system with 2 AudioScience 5111 cards to 2.4.26 and built asihpi, snd-asihpi along with all the alsa drivers in ALSA 1.0.10. Upon hitting the "alsactl -F -f /etc/asound.state restore" command the system hard-hangs and has to be power-cycled. Any clues what's going on here? 2. There are 2 Creative Labs soundblaster MP3+ USB audio adapters on this system as well. I have put in modules.conf entries for snd-usb-audio for them (snd-card-3 and 4, resp.) and they don't show up. In /var/log/messages I get things like "device not accepting new address 2". Anybody been through this gauntlet and know what I might need to do? Thanks Eric Weaver |
