Hello! I have a device that converts anolog video. I can read the streams of audio and video from it, but these come of course out of sync. Is there any place on the Web where I can read about the "science" behind the synchronization process? Of course I'm looking into some code that does this already, but to fully understand it I would like to know the backgrounds. Also, currently I do audio capture via /dev/dsp (got it from an example program). If I understand this correctly this goes thru OSS emulation layer under ALSA. How should it function with ALSA directly? (an example program maybe :) Thank you -- Minds, like parachutes, function best when open |
