An "apt-cache search alsa" might be better, it came up with many packages,
one of them has the following description:

Description: ALSA library plugins
 This package contains plugins for the ALSA library that not
 included in the main libasound2 package.
 .
 Currently only the JACK plugin is included.
 .
 ALSA is the Advanced Linux Sound Architecture.

That's libasound2-plugins.  Is this what you are after?
