Oops - sorry, forgot about that, Debian Sarge ("stable").
It has alsa 1.0.8 packages and kernel 2.6.8.
Hardware is AMD Athlon 2500+.
In the same vein - back when I bought the SBLiove I've
disabled the on-board AC'97 sound card through the BIOS in order to make
the SBLive the only one Alsa knows about for the same reason (the SBLive
was the second card). It would be interesting to hear if I can enable it an=
d
force it to be anything BUT card 0, for the same reason.
