Sorry, I know you have all seen this before but here goes one more time, I wasn't able to find a solution to my problem in the archives.=20 I am trying to build alsa-lib-1.0.4.tar.bz2 and alsa-utils-1.0.4.tar.bz2. lib-1.0.4 is currently being used by the product and cannot be replaced. I am tasked with getting the utils to jive with the system but I am failing. Also to throw another monkey into the wrench, this is a cross compile for arm being build on a redhat WS3 workstation.=20 I have no problem with the lib but the utilities gives me the following errors.=20 Libasound headers version >=3D 0.9.0 no present Sufficiently new version of libasound not found I have set the -prefix and it points to the location where the lib creates it's usr/ directory complete with includes, .a's etc. I made sim links from the include/sys/ directory back to the include/alsa directory but still no dice.=20 Any help would be much appreciated. Thanks,=20 Rowland |
