Performance and latency will be about the same across all SBLive!, Audigy, and Audigy1 cards - up to 16 channels full duplex with latency as low as 0.66 ms (1.3 is more useful) and minimal CPU usage even on a slower machine. The Audigy1 does not support 24/96 while the Audigy2 models do. The main difference from my perspective is whether you want the extra channels provided by the livedrive or not. Sound quality should get better going from the Live to Audigy to Audigy2. Lee |
