I gave it a try, and at least the drivers for my soundcard (something that came with a nforce 4 board) only do enconding for the left and right front channel. So digital out is completely useless unless I'd be watching a dvd (which I rather do on my stand alone player). So, are there any other options for the linux user besides buying an external dts encoder? (which would be an overkill imo since I'd feed this one right into a dts decoder). kind regards Philip |
