Yes, no more hacks needed to play 44.1 kHz source material. SPDIF 2 channel output is also working now. It is also really nice to control the LEDs on the device with no apparent effect on the device's functionality :) AC3 passthrough still produces only noise though. In alsamixer, pressing the right-arrow key to switch sliders crashes it with the message "alsamixer: simple.c:1975: snd_mixer_selem_get_enum_item: Assertion `helem' failed." Gnome-alsamixer does not crash, but complains frequently with messages like: ** (gnome-alsamixer:1182): WARNING **: gam_toggle_get_state (). No idea what to do for mixer element "Mono Output Select"! ** (gnome-alsamixer:1182): WARNING **: gam_toggle_get_state (). No idea what to do for mixer element "Headphone Source"! etc. I am using 2.6.12-rc5 with alsa-kernel 1.0.9 sources copied into the kernel sources using method 3 described on http://alsa.opensrc.org/index.php?page=AlsaBuild2.6 -- Koef. |
