[Alsa-user] SP 128 line-in problem

Hi,
I've installed a Slackware 10 with predefined kernel 2.4.I-dont-remember 
and alsa. Sound works good but when I connect something in line-in input 
I only hear uno channel (left). I try to play with alsa-mixer but nothing!;(
pcm device works well (stereo) either in oss emulation or not.
While I was going crazy I rmmod snd-es1371 and magically the other 
channel appear and I was able to listen line-in souce in 
stereo!..obviously without pcm or mixer capabilities. Why?
Anyone had the same problem? Ideas?
