I simply forgot. Thanks for reminding me. Here comes the data: lspci has this: 00:1f.5 Multimedia audio controller: Intel Corp. 82801DB AC'97 Audio (rev 03) Which is actually recognised correctly by alsaconf. And dmesg contains dozens of identical lines like this one: PCI: No IRQ known for interrupt pin B of device 00:1f.5. Please try using pci=biosirq. ALSA intel8x0.c:2512: unable to grab IRQ 0 Any more ideas? Thanks! Guido |
