I have Audigy2 zs, use Linux 2.6.6 with driver emu10k1 compiled July 21 from Alsa CVS. Using alsamixer, I unmuted "Tone" and set "Bass" to 50; "PCL LFE" and "LFE" are at 68, I use the 3 analog stereo jacks to connect to a cheap 5.1 powered speaker system, with woofer volume control at about 25%.
