Aaah .. so that was the problem! I connected USB mic directly and it works. I can record using alsa! Strange, however, since I'm running 2.6.6 kernel! Anyway, I still have to solve the problem under KDE because aRts can't record from it. Does anyone here by any chance know about aRts? I've set the mic to be a capture device from the mixer, but don't get any recording, even through command line 'artsrec -c 1 test.wav' Anyway .. thanks Clemens for your help .. --- Clemens Ladisch <cl...@la...> wrote: > John Green wrote: > > ehci_hcd 0000:00:1d.7: no iso-IN split transaction > yet > > Audio through USB 2.0 hubs isn't supported on older > kernels. > > > HTH > Clemens > > > __________________________________ Do you Yahoo!?
