And I don't know enough about the alsa drivers to solve the problem myself. - The walk trough doesn't say a thing about unloading OSS modules first, and I don't recall doing that the previous time either. - The only option is set during configuration of the alsa-drivers is: "./configure --with-cards=ymfpci --with-sequencer=yes" as told on the walk trough. I don't see what could be wrong here since I did that too last time. Only difference is the Mandrake version (now 9.2, then 9.1) - I don't know how to check whether the module is already loaded. I got this error first time i tried to load it. So I don't see how it could be loaded. I would be grateful if someone could tell us how to check our systems to be sure about the 3 points you mentioned. Alex Haan |
