[Alsa-user] Please help - SBLive AC3 lockups

Every time I try to play a surround encoded file using the AC3 pass-thru =
in Xine and MPlayer my system freezes. Any suggestions or thoughts would =
be appreciated.

Hardware:
P3 450Mhz on an Intel BX chipset
256 MB Ram
SBLive Model CT 4780 using a hoontech SB-DB III for optical out
NVidia Geforce 256 using S-Video out
Intel Pro/100 NIC

Software
2.4.18 kernel
alsa 0.9.0 RC3
Xine 0.9.13
NVidia Driver 1.0-3123
