[Alsa-user] No sound playing mp3 files or dvd's

Hi !

I have installed latest version of xine (from cvs), Soundblaster Audigy 

Platinum EX, Desktop Theater 5.1 DTT2500 Digital and the latest alsa-drivers

from cvs.

I get no sound out of the boxes if i try to play my dvd's or mp3 with 

alsaplayer or noatun from kde !

From xine I only get the following error messages:

Only the SPDIF-cable connects the soundcard with the DTT2500 !

Any ideas ?
