[Alsa-user] VIA 8233 in DFI AD-73 Pro motherboard

I have a VIA 8233 onboard chip in a DFI AD-73 motherboard. With alsa
0.9.0beta12, I can get the card detected, though no logs appear claiming
this. However, when I attempt to play sound, the playing programs seg
fault. To further complicate matters, it becomes impossible to remove the sound modules after an error occurs as the device becomes locked.

Has anyone seen these errors?
